Status of compliance with requirements
We are committed to digital accessibility and aim to design our website so that it is fully accessible to all users. We are therefore working continuously to fully implement the requirements of the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetzes (BFSG) and the Verordnung zum Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSGV).
Our website implements the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG):
Perceptibility:
- We ensure sufficient color contrast for better readability.
- We enable users to customize the font size using browser and system functions.
- Where possible, we offer alternatives for non-text-based content.
Usability:
- Content and functions for which we are not dependent on external providers are accessible via the keyboard so that they can also be navigated without restriction by users without a mouse.
- We offer touch support (operation via fingers and finger gestures) on suitable devices.
- We give users sufficient time to read all content.
- We avoid unnecessary animations and flashing elements that can trigger seizures in some people.
Understandable:
- We structure our content in a way that is easy to understand, and the website follows standard practices in terms of its operation.
Robust:
- Where possible, we support screen readers and read-aloud functions of the browser/system and third-party providers through standard-compliant code.
